Do you ever get tired of hearing "Thank you"? I hope you never do because the happiness you bring to so many is priceless. So, from my daughter Vanessa & family and my husband Jim and me - THANK YOU!

We re-united July 23rd in Lion's Bay BC at a dear friend's cottage and our lives are changed forever - as I write this, my tears are flowing with gratitude and happiness. Our newfound family is fabulous!!! We lived together for five days and laughed and cried and hugged and kissed and loved each other with no reservations!!! Our story has made it through the Internet lines and into the hearts of countless friends, relatives and total strangers. It gets sweeter each time it is told and we never tire of relating our joy.

Our oldest grandson Gavin spent his 14th birthday with us August 26th here in Calgary. He rode the bus from Edmonton and learned a bit of big city life by attending Slam City Jam with Grandpa Jim & a new friend Spencer (our friend's son) - they even stayed up all night Saturday so I'm not sure we know how to be good grandparents! Our story goes on and on and it seems to be a dream - a dream come true! On September 16th, my Dad turns 88 years old and we will introduce our new family to my parents that weekend - another joyful event that will be relived in our memory bank forever. We have hundreds of photos to share.
