Bullying Prevention

Led by a cross-ministry prevention of bullying working group, the Bullying Prevention Strategy is a partnership of government departments that supports children and youth in reaching their potential. Part of the strategy includes a three-year phased public awareness and education campaign. The campaign has included the development of website for children, youth and adults. The goal is to raise awareness of what bullying is, identify what people can do to stop it, and encourage a change in societal attitudes towards bullying.
