Jane Ursel is the principal investigator of the Longitudinal Study of the Winnipeg Family Violence Court, which has now collected 14 years of data on the Court. She is also the principal investigator of a Tri- provincial longitudinal study of women who have been abused by their intimate partner. This study involves all eight prairie universities and 12 community agencies. Her primary focus is on pragmatic policy and program focused research, addressing issues of family violence.
